My Winter Skincare Hack
Hey guys! I hope you're all well and excited for Christmas. I'm having a bit of a rubbish end to the year if I'm honest, I've not been well all week so been feeling extremely unmotivated, lethargic and generally really rubbish! So I am writing this from my sick bed in hopes it will reach your screens/iphones before Christmas!
I've switched up my skincare massively this Winter and I've been gagging to tell you when I've been up too. So, as you may know, I love a good mask- whether it be a hair mask, face mask or even a foot mask! (yes those are a thing.) I've tried almost all of my masks in my collection and hounded my favourites down to these 3.
Pixie Nourishing Sleep Mask
Firstly, I love sleep so the name of this mask drew me in immediately. I feel like my day will go good or bad depending on how much sleep I have had and the quality of it. This mask can double up as a moisturiser, but for me personally I like to do things the proper way and actually try a product out for the description that is stated on the 'tin'. I have never tried Pixie products but I fell in love with this one, I find it can be good used in the shower too if you have time to spare i.e shaving your legs or washing your hair. I always wake up with glowing skin after I use this mask, I strongly recommend! & for a luxury brand, it's really reasonably priced.
Chantecaille Detox Mask
If you are after moisture for your skin, this mask is not the one - but this isn't why I use this mask. It's called the 'Detox' mask so I use it almost as a reboot for my skin, it strips the skin of excess oil and dirt and really revives the skin, leaving it squeaky clean and ready for my serum and moisturiser.
Jasmine & Lily Healing Mask
I love this mask for nourishment, it's also a good sleep mask! The detox mask prior to this works really well. This mask has healing purposes so it is great for anyone especially if you have scarring or acne or if you are just looking for a mask which proves nourishment, and radiant results. Want to know a beauty secret? I know that Sylvie Chantecaille loves using this on planes when she travels! It works wonders 30,000 miles up in the sky!
