My Favourite Biotin Hair Mask | L'Oreal
For the last year I've been taking Biotin tablets to help grow my hair and maintain the condition. In the last 3 months I discovered an additional form of Biotin to boost my hairs condition and growth. I was introduced to the Serie Expert B6 + Biotin range by L'Oreal by my friend Samm, owner of @SMFHAIR . This is a range you can only buy in the salons or online- I'll be honest there's something about the exclusivity of the range that enticed me. The Biotin in the products also helps to strengthen your hair which is exactly what I needed!
What is Biotin?
Biotin, also known as Vitamin B7 or H, is a B vitamin found in small amounts in a number of foods, such as eggs and nuts. It is often added to oral hair growth supplements or sometimes hair products to nourish thinning hair and help promote hair growth. One symptom of Biotin deficiency can be thinning hair or discolouration of hair, hence why I have been adding in Biotin more to my diet to prevent this.
I love the shampoo + conditioner but the real hero for my hair has been the mask, if you've been following me for a while you will know how much I love a good hair mask! The B6 + Biotin Hair Mask is good for several things;
-Strengthens your hair
-Provides shine for the hair
-Enriched with Biotin + B6
The range is specifically for people with damaged hair, and together with my hair extensions and my countless bad hair dyes I was desperately in search of a good hair mask to quiet literally 'save' my hair. The shampoo is great and you don't need much to lather your hair, now my only bit of advice is because the range is packed with vitamins you want to ensure your hair is absorbing all of those vitamins for it to work on your hair, so I would recommend lathering your shampoo in for 5 mins, maybe chuck in an extra scalp massage in there to activate the scalp and increase your chances of hair growth (circulation in the scalp is linked to hair growth.)
