The NEW Hotel in London You Have To Try | The Dixon Hotel
Last weekend I stayed in Tower Bridge at The Dixon hotel with one of my best friends. The Dixon is a luxury Edwardian style hotel in central London. As soon as you push the 8 foot doors open at the entrance of The Dixon you definitely have a ‘jaw dropping’ moment. The entrance is absolutely is insane! The grand stair case as you walk through the door is one of the prettiest entrances I’ve ever seen to a hotel, ever! As we checked in they had fresh iced water with fruit which was a nice welcome while we were checking in.
Our room was beautiful, it was my ideal room- with high ceilings and gorgeous Parisian windows I felt right at home, we also had a living room in the room. My favourite thing about Marriott hotels are the beds, the beds are the best in the business, the duvets are duck down and the sheets are so soft- I ALWAYS get a full 9 hours deep sleep in their beds it’s great.
The restaurant in the hotel is really decent, if you go make sure you get the brie and goats cheese balls for starters- I actually dreamt about them after that dinner they were so delicious! The restaurant itself is brand new and right next to them are cells which remain from when the hotel used to be a magistrates court! How quirky.
For breakfast we had a full english breakfast with scrambled egg for room service, with fresh OJ and coffee- the perfect end to the perfect stay!
